I’ll keep this short cos time is short…

We have a 1 in 1 chance of dying. No-one here gets out alive. After you die where will you be one minute later?

Seems like there’s 4 possible answers you may have.

1 “I’m going to heaven.” Now this may be true, but for some people it will be a shock where they end up. There’s a huge diffence between “Well done, good and faithful servant;” in Matthew 25:23 and “I never knew you: depart from me” in Matthew 7:23. A lot of people who say that they’re going to heaven won’t get there…

“I’m, basically a good person.”
“I’ve done my best”
“I go to church.” ain’t gonna cut it…

In Romans 3:10 it is says “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

So what’s the right answer? When we die we will have to give an account of our lives before God. God knows our every act and even the best of us aren’t sinless.

We have to give our lives to Jesus Christ, who did live a sinless life. Faith in him will save us and wash us clean. Nothing is too bad that it can’t be forgiven. To doubt that doubts the scale of Jesus’ sacrifice for us and its power to cleanse us. So anyone from stone cold killers to daily sinners are saved.

2 “I’m going to hell.” There’s no-one in hell cos of the sins they committed or things they’ve done wrong. The people who are in hell are there because they refused God’s provision to cleanse us from our sins. Like I said above ain’t nothing so bad it can’t be forgiven if you ask Jesus to cleanse you, so hell is not pre-defined for you, whatever you have done you can make the choice for Christ and for heaven.

3 “I don’t know where I’ll be.” Well this one’s a real simple concept for a G. If you’re not with us you’re against us. You have to make a positive choice for Christ. God isn’t a God that will force us to do something we don’t want. If we choose hell he will allow us to, if we choose Christ we’re saved.

4 “I don’t believe in God.” None belief does not excuse you from nature’s laws. I could say I don’t believe in gravity but if I jump off a building I’m gonna hit the ground real fast. I am still affected. So like number 3 without a positive choice I’m going to hell.

I can’t stress this strongly enough. I wasted years in unbelief until Christ started moving in my life. Learn from my mistakes. All you need is true faith in Christ and one minute after you’ll be in heaven. Guaranteed.

John 1:9 clinches it…”If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

It doesn’t say maybe, it says he is faithful, that means always keeping his word and never failing us.

Take the step accept Christ into your heart and your life and leave a message below.

But that’s just the start from there “But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” (James 2:18-19)

Belief and acceptance is the fist step, but it is only the first step and not the last. Too often the church and it’s members see the problems faced by others and say have faith, or I will be praying for you, but do nothing to help those they see – they do not offer them spritual clothing or food.

Been living in the past too long, trying to grasp the past tighter every day and watching it slip through my hands like sand. Time to try to make it into tomorrow. Time be be prepared and ready for tomorrow and what it can bring, not worry about yesterday.

So it’s 5:30am (really!) and today I’m gonna turn the page gonna make the best of the day. Yeah yesterday has passed but God still blesses me today and whatever is done is done. I’m forgiven for my past and I got a lot of work to do to make the best of my future no doubt. For too long it’s been about me. It’s time for me to live, to give back. Time to help those who need it. It’s time to live a better way.

In Isaiah – Chapter 61 it says “The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of theprison to [them that are] bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;”

Sometimes I hate how my mind plays tricks, how I feel like an outcast. How friends can stop progress. It’s easy to follow but tough to lead I guess.

in Ephesians 5:17 it says “…be ye not unwise…”

How many times have we seen on Gangstyle – “If only I would have handled that better…made the right choices – it would have saved me much so much pain.”

We’re all in the frontlne of this war and it seems like we have a mountain to move and we have a fine line to walk. It’s time for all of us to rise and become what we are, not what we have been. Only a few can understand the feeling but every one can make the change.

Jesus said in Matthew 17:20:

“You will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. ”

If it is God’s will and we act in it, it can be done.

If you have been in the game for a while you know time is getting short and deep down you know the life ain’t worth the price of the few dollars in your pocket. ike Gang Starr said “What we do comes back” and the cat you jacked a while back has revenge on his mind, maybe some of us are looking for revenge ourselves.

We need to get out of that mind set…Romans 12:19 says “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” That takes a lot off our plate and allows us to move on.

It’s tiring and we gotta be done with it. If between us we can just reach one person and help them find Christ in their life that’s enough. Most of us don’t have much to show for life but that don’t mean we can’t show others a better way. Life tough out there for everyone, let’s use what we know to help others.

In closing check out 2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

We need to get out there and make a difference!

In Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Too many of us know this from experience but that was yesterday, today’s  time to give our lives to Christ and start working for his Kingdom.

“Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away (James 4:13-14).”

You’re busy making plans and then it’s all over. Car crash, drive by, illness, it’s gonna come to us all and most times not when we expect. And where does that leave you? Is all your business in order? Said goodbye and left all your friends and relations on good terms? Prolly not.

And what about after that? What about eternity? Do you know Jesus Christ? Or are you headed for hell? There’s no coming back, no recycling. Hebrews 9:27 states, “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” That judgement will be based on decisions you make right now.

This forces your hand a little. You have to get right with Christ while you’re alive. So while you’re breathing you can repent of your sins and give your life to Christ. There’s cats sat on death row gonna live longer than some of us, that’s a sobering thought and one that should cause us to act fast.

Don’t put it off. The Bible says, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Do not wait for tomorrow. You are not promised a tomorrow. “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth” (Proverbs 27:1). And Jesus said, “For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37).

It’s too late when your toe’s tagged at the coroners, you gotta think about it and act today. No-one likes to be lied to so get into the truth early and often.

Corinthians 6 leaves us in no doubt…”Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Check verse 11! Even if you fall into any of the categories before that and most of us do, if you are in Christ you are saved. So don’t let anyone tell you that you are not good enough. In God’s terms no-one is but Christ’s sacrifice pays for our sins.

If you’re reading this you have time right now. There’s no plea bargain with God. So how do you go about getting saved?

Prayer of Salvation – Our First Real Conversation With God
The “prayer of salvation” is the most important prayer we’ll ever pray. When we’re ready to become a Christian, we’re ready to have our first real conversation with God, and these are its components:

• We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.

• We confess our past life of sin — living for ourselves and not obeying God.

• We admit we are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

• We ask Jesus to come into our heart, take up residence there, and begin living through us.

Prayer of Salvation – It Begins With Faith in God
When we pray the prayer of salvation, we’re letting God know we believe His Word is true. By the faith He has given us, we choose to believe in Him. The Bible tells us that “without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

So, when we pray, asking God for the gift of salvation, we’re exercising our free will to acknowledge that we believe in Him. That demonstration of faith pleases God, because we have freely chosen to know Him.

Prayer of Salvation – Confessing Our Sin
When we pray the prayer of salvation, we’re admitting that we’ve sinned. As the Bible says of everyone, save Christ alone: “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

To sin is simply to fall short of the mark, as an arrow that does not quite hit the bull’s-eye. The glory of God that we fall short of is found only in Jesus Christ: “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)

The prayer of salvation, then, recognizes that Jesus Christ is the only human who ever lived without sin. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Prayer of Salvation – Professing Faith in Christ as Savior and Lord
With Christ as our standard of perfection, we’re now acknowledging faith in Him as God, agreeing with the Apostle John that: “In the beginning was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)

Because God could only accept a perfect, sinless sacrifice, and because He knew that we could not possibly accomplish that, He sent His Son to die for us and pay the eternal price. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life..” (John 3:16)

Prayer of Salvation – Say It & Mean It Now!
Do you agree with everything you have read so far? If you do, don’t wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Pray this with us:

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer of Salvation – I’ve Prayed It; Now What?
If you’ve prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something – a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Welcome to the family of God! We encourage you now to find a local church where you can be baptized and grow in the knowledge of God through His Word, the Bible.

Jesus’ genealogy shows us that God works faithfully from one generation to the next. God redeems messed up families and raises up new family leaders because of his faithfulness to and love for ill-deserving people. Four covenant heads are mentioned in Jesus’ genealogy from Luke: David, Abraham, Noah, and Adam. Each points to and foreshadows Jesus, but Jesus is greater than all four. If we are born again in Jesus, we are added to his family line as well.
