When it comes to your kids, be nosey, expert says

LEESBURG — Parents shouldn’t be afraid of exercising a little “snoopervision” when it comes to their children, Marc Fromby said.
Only through the combination of strict supervision and regular snooping into a child’s stuff can parents ensure their safety, said Fromby, a gang awareness expert, speaking at the Child Protection Mini-Conference Wednesday at Lake-Sumter Community College.
“Get involved. Know where your kids are; know what they are doing and know who their friends are,” he said. “Be nosey and go into your kid’s stuff.”
