What are Prison Gangs?

As we look at the state of gangs in 2011 we look at definitions…

Prison gangs are criminal organizations that originated within the penal system and operate within correctional facilities throughout the United States, although released members may be operating on the street. Prison gangs are also self-perpetuating criminal entities that can continue their criminal operations outside the confines of the penal system.

NO DIFFERENCE

Realizing we all struggle and suffer in our own unique, different way will help you come to terms that we’re all alike and similar. You might think your struggles are more severe then someone else’s, but you don’t know what that other person has been through. Just because they don’t speak of it, doesn’t mean they haven’t been through it.

Don’t judge people, try to understand why they do what they do and help them, guide them in the right direction, towards Christ.

Don’t look down on people. It’s your responsibility as a God fearing Christian to bring as many people to God as you possibly can. We as Christians must dedicate our lives to helping people get saved, not making $$, working, or being selfish. It’s about God and nothing else. Forget money, God will make it disappear if you put it before him. Don’t look for true love in relationships and people, you will only waste your time. Only true love is Jesus Christ. His intentions are always pure and good, he forgives and he’s always there. People are the complete opposite.

Trust in God, live by faith and repent for your sins. You can change if you’re still alive, it’s not to late!

Teaching is good, Learning is better

As we live, we learn. Most ppl do, some don’t. U have 2 keep an open mind n humble heart, learn from ya mistakez, try 2 learn from otherz mistakez. Never think u kno it all, dont b cocky, b humble n keep an open mind n pure heart.

PPl will try 2 hurt n hate u, but datz only cuz ppl hurt n hated dem. 4give em, enrich em, n lift em…Show dem derz a way besidez alcohol n drugz, bangin n violence…Dat way iz Jesus, He’z da only way…All other pathz will lead 2 failure…Beware…Da devil trickz and deceivez, not errthang iz alwayz wut it look like…

Thoze u think luv u (dat u luv) will stab u in da bak when u least expect it…Datz cuz dey aint perfect (only God iz) n dey subject 2 makin mistakez….(1 of thoze mistakez iz not 4givin ppl) dis iz a weakness of da mind dat will prevent u from havin a successful life n future…U MUST 4GIVE PPL N MOVE ON…LYFE IZ SHORT…

B4 u kno it, u aint a kid no more, u old n u got responsibilitiez…da best part bout lyfe iz if u alive, u can change n grow, wut u learn from ya mistakez u can apply 2 ya future 2 make ya relationshipz better n stronger….derz positive outta every negative situation…fix ya eyez n mind…100

Beaten till it didn’t hurt

From our message boards byDollfac3

Goose bumps ain’t shit when there’s a gun in your face point blank.
You front like your shit hot,
pshh all the cholas used to tell me that I walk like my shit don’t stink?.
Haha I still don’t understand that lame sane.
Yeah I got that something that drives people wild.
ALah is God and all hail..but how does all this bad stuff happen if he is “so strong.”
I fought for a belonging,
a certain place, people to rely on, and to find those who would have my back.
It all starts with a family basis, calling the older G’s uncle and me, i was mijita or “hynita.”
Life was hard.. Oh yeah.. Yeah he was a real man.
A Real OG.
The kind that didn’t care,
slap me in broad daylight if i didn’t have my shit straight.
aha but when the same happened to him like blu3 down the street he cried like a little B!
ahh… all of a sudden life isn’t fair?
Stupid man.. He was no real man.
Just as strong as me just had a better front.
I’d love to see the men that hurt me have it done to them.
They beat me till it didn’t hurt,
It was at the point where i couldn’t lift my head to see if i was gonna die.
Where i’d shut my eyes so tight my brain would give out.
All i could do was suffer and prey that they would have mercy on me.
I could never wish something so horrible on anyone, but can i just say wny me?.
The pain is truly indescribable.
I’d been beaten for so long.
They say they beat you so you don’t break. But Damn it I Broke!
How could someone live with all this poison.
A black heart is something I lack.
I’m 16! and i’ve been hiding these secrets for so long.
Because who wants to share such a story with those who care for you.
So It’s been burried deep and It’s forcing itself it up,like when I drink to much.
But heyy. It’s life right?. pshh

The gang member’s guide to joy in conflict

Conflict. Most of us shy away from it, dread it, and lament over it. Yet, from Philippians 3:1-11 Pastor Mark Driscoll preaches about how the holy rebel Paul discovered joy in the midst of constant conflict that had broken his body, taken his freedom, but not touched his joy.
